Forums - Sales - Battle of the PS2 Platformers! Sly vs. Jak vs. Ratchet!

I'm tired of all this Xbox One arguments so why not compare the sales of the platforming trio's PS3 collections?

Looking at the initial sales of each (first 20 weeks) I'm very suprised to see Sly sell better than Jak and Ratchet given that Sly wasn't nearly as popular back in the PS2 days. Now jump to week 40 and Ratchet is the highest selling while Jak and Sly are virtually tied. lets go just 6 weeks later (Ratchet has only been available for 46 weeks) and Jak passes both Sly and ratchet like a BOSS. I like Jak the best out of the 3 as you can see from my avatar so I'm glad it is selling this well. It's not hard to see why the Jak Collection is coming to Vita sales wise as it's probably making a decent profit on PS3. Really hope to see all 3 on Vita since it's my go to system to play games on.

You should have compared the whole stable

LittleBigPlanet and Ape Escape are the biggest.

Ape Escape 2 sold over 6 million and LBP 1 will end in the 6 million range

whats with the sudden drops?

also the reason Sly is outselling them probably because most people never played it and want to catch up with the series.

well they have to be games that released on current platforms so ape escape is out of the question but I might find a comparison where LittleBigPlanet fits.

Ratchet of course and they're the only ones to find success this gen also (Sly 4 was my favorite one but Sony let it die with no advertising). Ratchet is my favorite series of all time and ACiT is my favorite game of all time.
