True but in that gen people were arguing about who beat who to win 1st place, not who beat who to win 2nd place lol.

Just wait 3 more years and PS3 sales will be brought up again

Told ya so. Was inevitable. PlayStation outside of the main 3 markets is just too big. Was always bound to happen if support stayed strong... Kinect just held it back a tad

Anyway. The 360 isnt the real target, just a hinderance. The real target is and always has been the 100 Million mark.

Fair enough, but that is assuming PS3 sales don't drop after PS4 releases. :)

It'll drop but not as bad as the Wii support. Pretty sure we can see a bit more games coming out in the next two years.

Edit: The same with the 360.


Unless Microsoft abandons 360 like they did the first XBOX upon the 360's arrival.

They intend on supporting it in someway or another for the next 5 Years. Theyre aiming for 100 Million.

If you look at unique users, this happened last year.

Of the first 16 million 360's sold, there was a 50% fail rate. Compare that to PS3's 15%, that means there are at least 6.8 million more broken 360's then PS3s out there. Sure, not all are replaced, and smart people like me got a 3rd party extended warrenty, but still.
