Forums - Microsoft Discussion - why all the negative comments on the xbox one?

So what's with all the negative comments on the xbox one? As some people know,I'm a playstation guy. With that being said,I thought the xbox one looked dam good. It looks like a big step up from the xbox 360 in every way. It also looks like they greatly improved the kinnect technology. I personally can't wait until E3 to see what else they have to offer. I don't know why some people are downplaying the xbox one and being so negative. I personally think the thing has really great potential. Can't we all just hold off until E3 before making such quick judgements?

you can't be serious?

why? its rather simple. there focus on TV and shows was way more than their focus on games. which you know, is the main reason people buy these consoles.

No. If we wait until E3 then it won't be a quick judgment.

IT's the internet. Everybody over-reacts.

Banana I expected better out of you O.o  We all knew the reveal was not about the games well before the conference lol

When there is nothing positive to say one must be negative.

Like I said, there holding off until E3. I'm sure that's when they'll focus on all the games. This was just a smaller presentation to reveal the system.

This.

I agree that more info on both systems will be needed from E3 to make an appropriate decision on which system someone will buy, but just going on what we know about both. The X1 isn't looking good.

Not only is there the negativity surrounding the constant connection/used game fee thing, but the simple fact that their reveal was focused on tv, sports, and tv. It gave the message to people that they aren't caring about the core gamer at all and are focusing on casuals.

The only thing I find weird about is half the people yelling about how they hate it claim they love Steam.

When basically MS is just turning their console into a more highly featured Steam box
