This has been all over the news today. Its sickening. Cowardly. Whats worse is that these scum are now laying in hospital beds getting looked after by the same British people that they hate. Being payed for by the same British people that they hate.

Its horrible. Scum like this need wiping out.

I fucking hate religion.

Not religion, mate, politics. Islam has only been a threat insofar as it has ever been politicized, at the very beginning of the faith and their Spain-to-Pakistan Caliphate, and in modern times and their attempts to recreate same.

It really is horrifyingly brutal, or at least moreso than normal for them, though i suppose such is the nature of terrorism, you have to up the ante if you want to achieve maximum terrorizing.

Religion in general is just, for me, rubbish. Religion and politics go hand in hand, its all about power. Though thats for another thread.

Using religion and/or poilitcs as an excuse for shit like this just adds to how low and scummy they really are.

nobody stopped them? why did it take 20 minutes for the police? what the hell? its not like they had guns why did no one shoot them?

There is a radical Islamic problem in this world and it HAS to be fixed.

There are many great good willed Muslims out there and they need to stand up and call people like this disgusting and drive them out

are you kidding?

they never stood up against them, and they never will. They had thousands of opportunities and they never did.

the problem is that the salafi and wahibis and other radical muslims  are just following the words and orders of their prophet as precise as possible-no chance to beat them with religious arguements as quran and abrogation are on their side.

And the worst of these guys are those who converted to islam-they are the most radical because they are new and they try to prove how loyal they are and how much they believe in allah. They know shit about what is really going on in islam or islamic country and btw.

those guys just did what their prophet has done for years.

Sad..

This was truly a horrible thing that happened. However, it is unfair to blame an entire religion on the acts of a few. There are over 1 billion Muslims in the world and it is probably less than 1% of them who would do terrorist acts such as these. It is also unfair to blame religion in general for attacks like these. Atheists have done some pretty horrible things as well (look at the cristeros war in Mexico). The point is we should not blame the religion, we should blame the people who commit these acts.

That's terrible. But isn't it a bit far fetched to call it a 'terrorist attack' if only one man was murdered?

This is just awful but it really don't help when the EDL thinks its a good idea to attack them as a result of this. Extremists on all sides create so many problems

Was this attack done with the intent to terrify people and crumble their faith into their government (and possibly armed forces)? Yes it was, thus it qualifies as a terrorist attack.

For example, the RAF in Germany did some big bombings, but what really got people was when they managed to kidnap single important persons, implying NO ONE was safe from them.
