Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Xbox One has non-replaceable hard drive, external storage is supported

lol. That is so stupid, why can't they give you this option like in Xbox 360 or any other device with HDD.

So I need to send console to them, wait for a long time for them to fix it. Compared to 2-3 hours in which I can do it myself, like on 360. :/

That's very different than your claim of "most of the os features won't be ready at launch." We don't know what other things he is referring to, as they could be anything, even non-OS related. Either way nothing in his blog implies "MOST" of the features won't be ready.

That's where your typical FUD comes in and how you use inaccurate info to try and support your claims and to trick people.

Most feature aren't be ready at launch... MS already said that too... not my words.

Some example...

- No full support for voice commnads at launch
- No indie self publishing at launch
- No Xbox One devkip feature at launch
- No external storage at launch

I can list more for you.

Yes, please list all such instances, with linkable sources, and compare that with the total announced features so that you can try and prove your "MOST" comment has any merit.

Also, you need to start putting asterisks* by some of your quotes since some of them only apply to certain countries or whatnot, and the fact that features like the devkit and self publishing were never announced as launch features to begin with so it's not any negative impact whatsoever.

So did you agree with me? Because your comments seems like excuses and I'm not trying to give a negative impact lol.

They selling multimedia device without support for external flash drives or HDD? wth...

Or they only mean "games"?

You're thinking of the PS4. PS4 doesn't support external storage,  but supports upgrading internal storage. Xbox One does not allow internal storage replacement but DOES allow external HDD and Flash Drives.

Hope that helps :)

No PS4 does support external storage however for media. Not for games. Xbox One does not support external storage at release. They will update that in the future. Hope that helps :)

Nope, I did not. Still waiting on your lists, with sources, as mentioned above.

Just google it... it is easy... what I listed is not any secret... MS confirmed all of them.

Example...

"it won't all be there at launch"

The Xbone requires ALL physical games to be installed in the HDD. Add to that all patches, DLC, demos and media people usually keep and 500 GB is not a large amount at all. Say the average next-gen game is 25GB in size, that's about 17 games you could have installed at any given time and that's not including DLC and all the other stuff.

I´m just really happy with the notion off being able to play my games from an external HDD in the future, that really makes it easy to take your games to a friends house.

Even games won't be "all there at launch" lol, Show him the links to the devs of Forza 5 saying that and Killer Instinct releasing with only 6 characters. lol

That's not my job. It's yours for making a claim, to have to back it up. If you won't do it, I'll report you again, for misinformation and spreading FUD.
