The absolute worst part of the whole conference is Steven Spielberg's involvement in the Halo TV show. I fear he will dumb it down and ruin it. Ruin it bad he will. Terra Nova - I wanted to like that show cause it had some good actors And dinosaurs, but even that couldn't save it. Seriously, Steven – create your own show!

The Halo service 'Forward Unto Dawn' team was great! They should be doing the show - smart, slick, good acting, and very talented. But no, some guy who used to make good movies runs in and takes over. So very sad about that I am.

(And I did like Boom Blox, but Steven, make your own series - don't steal a good one and ruin it.)

Thanks man! I'm trying!  I see peole jazzed about it, and wish I could join them.  I really don't think I understand the same world they enhabit.

 I have suffered through ET, Hook, and The Goonies.  They were at times enjoyable, and also aweful - so much cringe.  To be fair, I think JAWS is one of the best crafted movies, ever! His ensemble work, which Halo will probably be, is why I fear it will be dumbed down, sanitized and fail. 

Terra Nova really had that caricature-ish feel of his enable pieces. And it had some talent actors, but they seemed uninteresting, uninterested and derivative. They were more like talking scenery than true characters.

I want to be happy about it, but it seems like Cousin Oliver is coming to Halo in the form of Steven Spielburg. 

I really wish they just had the same group that did 'Forward Unto Dawn.'  They should build on what they have already done.

It just goes to show, MS really cares about Halo fans. And they make money too. It really is win-win for all involved.

I mean, I don't see Nin/Sony doing this for their IPs today, so for that I am thankful to MS, as a diehard Halo nut :P

I'm doing my best to smile about it.  But I think I look like Wedensday trying to smile after she gets out of the Harmony Hut on the Adams Family Values Movie.
