Guys, stop making a fool of yourselves by believing this thing, it will never happen.

Nintendo isn't stupid enough to damage their biggest licence by strengthening a competitor (Sega all star racing) and won't share their biggest profits with SEGA.

The inclusion of SEGA characters would bring NOTHING to Mario Kart sale wise, there would only be CONS for Nintendo.

It won't happen and stop being stupid enough to believe it. It harms my eyes to see what this forum is becoming.

Really is that so?  Now I'm not saying this rumor is true but let's not forget Super Smash Bros and Mario&Sonic Olympics.  This is not out of the normal for them.  SEGA is no longer a nintendo competitor.  They are an asset, an Ally, a friend.  

They could be putting Sonic into Mario Kart perhaps as part of the Sonic Lost World deal, Sega gets Sonic in Mario Kart and that will help them sell future Sonic racing games on the Wii U to the Nintendo crowd, and Nintendo gets themselves an exclusive. I guess win/win that way.

In the kart games they are competitors.

Why Nintendo would alter the consummer perception that Mario Kart is far above every other kart games by mixing it with Sonic kart? It wouldn't make sense.

Mario and Sonic in Olympics doesn't compete with any other Nintendo games and Sega has the olympics licence.

It wouldn't make any sense to make a Mario and Sonic kart game for Nintendo, let alone including it in a exclusive deal with SEGA.

Only heard of this rumour now but how exactly would it damage Mario Kart when All Star Racing Transformed does certain things better gameplay-wise? It would allow Nintendo to pick and choose the best parts from both franchises to stamp out any weaknesses.

Sonic is a give for next MK installment, and i have no complaints.

My main complaint is that we haven't even had a "Nintendo Kart" yet, so moving on to Sonic seems premature.
