I have a strong feeling that CrazzyMan is either a terrible gimmick poster or 12 years old. Or perhaps both.

By the time SMS launched, very few titles were available on the GC; quite frankly, GC owners had almost nothing else to play at the time while SMG has to face WiiFit and many DS titles. Also, all console franchise sales are dropping in Japan, as portables grow.

Lastly, SMG and Wii in general has one great advantage as opposed to SMS and GC :

@RolStoppable, i am JUST asking, how to act in the future. IF it`s forbidden to LoL at Low nintendo numbers, then i want to know that.

@thekitchensink, it`s NOT working THAT way. Developers care about software SALES, NOT attach rates.
p.s. besides 2.4 mln. is 12,6%. =)

Final Fantasy X - around 2 mln. with 5 mln. PS2 on the launch.

1.8 mln. PS3 today(2008.01.17) in Japan. Now(2009.04.30) 3.16 mln. PS3 were sold in Japan.
PS3 will reach 4 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 25k.

PS3 may reach 5 mln. in Japan by the end of 2009 with average weekly sales 50k.
PS2 2001 vs PS3 2008 sales numbers =) + New games released in Japan by 2009 that passed 100k so far

Crazzyman, here are a few numbers for you:

San Andreas 410k units with almost 20 million consoles sold. Total SW sold over 15 million WW

Need for speed underground 80k units sold with almost 12 million consoles sold sold. SW total sales WW over 6 million.

Believe me, i can really go on to find a lot more of this crap, but what's the point? Or let me say it like this: I gave you two games, one is a good title while the other is considered a top tier AAA title. I gave you a estimated amount of consoles that were currently available at the time of their release. Now either you are going to stop being an ass and actually come to a certain conclusion about games in Japan, the ratio between SW sold and amount of HW, or you will continue to make a joke of yourself. Trust me, acting like a little brat never helped anyone in conveying any message to others.

Grow up, or end up just like Leo.
