Forums - Gaming - Call of Duty: Ghosts clip offers a brief look at the game in progress, teases reveal

Polygon

Infinity Ward released a brief teaser for Call of Duty: Ghosts that features a look at the game in an early design state.

The video, which you can watch here, was posted via Vine and loops approximately five seconds of footage. Following rumors and a leaked promotional poster, Call of Duty: Ghosts was officially announced earlier this month for Windows PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and next-gen systems. Few details are currently known about the game, but it will deliver a new story, cast and setting.

A first look at the game is expected at Microsoft's next-gen Xbox unveiling taking place on Tuesday, May 21.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is currently slated for launch Nov. 5 of this year. The game is available now for pre-order.

Looks like the animations have been vastly improved just based on that gif. Can't really tell much about graphics

well whatever the graphics are on may 21th, get used to them for the next 7-8 years.

I thought MW2 looked quite a bit better than MW1. If you compare COD2 with BO2, there's obviously been a lot of graphical improvements even though the basic gameplay remained the same. But I think after MW2, graphics haven't improved significantly.

I think it'll be a case of them eventually hitting a ceiling with what they can get out in terms of graphics after running 60 FPS, which will take several iterations. I don't think COD will ever sacrifice FPS for better graphical fidelity like other games, no matter what. I'm hoping we can at least get true 1080p with 60 FPS at least. Killzone Shadow Fall gives me hope for the future of FPS.

LOL.

For the record.  I'm way more concerned about the gameplay.  MW3 and BO2 sucked because of their horrendous lag compensation system.  Makes me want to fling my disc out the window!

just another game for my Wii U... oh wait

Actually, isn't there a chance that Wii U WILL get this game?  And great job bringing up the WII U in yet another thread that has nothing to do with platform of choice, but rather, a game.

Regardless, I prefer to play shooters on my xbox controller - wouldn't be surprised if this was a timed exclusive.  I use my Wii U for Nintendo exclusives and I thought everybody else did too.  Also, what I am REALLY most excited for is what the ex infinity ward team can come up with...
