I'm getting a Wii U in 2 weeks, and I'll be going digital-only with it, so I want to know, is the wii u downloads really that slow as I've read in some places? If yes, does it happen everytime in the day and with everybody or is it a problem that few have had?

People shouldn't have to buy extras such as external hardrives to take advantage of the product they spent hundreds on. But if it's no problem for the OP then more power to him

i rather the freedom than micrososft charging me an arm and a leg for oen of their hdd upgrades.

I have a good internet connection and I've had no problems. The downloads are the same as anything else. Plus, now that the OS is almost finished you can download while doing other things or with the system off.

What about the downloads, does anyone here buys anything at e-shop?

It's as fast as the PC? that's all I need to know.
