When did they creep above Vita, Wii and Wii U?

PSP is at 1.5m for 2013, I thought it was below everything but the DS.

The vita happened...

But the system is still doing exceptionally well in Europe and somewhat in japan. pretty good for a almost decade old system (damn sony and their 10 year plans)

I'm not really surprised at those numbers given how cheap is the "Street" model in my country and how much push it still has from big consumer electronic retailer chains like Media Markt or Saturn and maybe less lately but still a good amount of mobile communications and internet providers give it as a option for a contract.

As the other guy said, in Europe they sell the "street" version which goes for about €100 (no wi-fi though).

Sony legacy consoles just are beasts all the time. I can't wait to see what PS3 pulls off after PS4 comes out and of course it has more room for price cuts than the previous Sony consoles have.
