Could the versions really be that different from each other? I would think if they were different they wouldn't have the same name.

Super Smash Bros U (to reflect Wii-U's graphics)
vs
Super Smash Bros 3D (to reflect Brawl's graphics)
There was a rumor earlier last year I think that stated that the two versions could be different although it could of been pure speculation.

Sorry, shoulda specified that I meant the games wont be fundamentally different from each other asside from physical discrepancies due to hardware such as graphics n controls. I'm sure both games will have the same stages, characters, game modes, n so ons.
|
I can see that happening but it would be pretty interesting if they decided to put some exclusive characters/stages on each version and if you connect/own both versions you can unlock/transfer them or something o.O.
iuno, as of this moment I have my interests on the Wii-U version since that seems to be the definite version since its a home console.

I could definitely see them doing that as it encourages people to buy both versions, thus giving them more money. If they do that then surely each version will have the same amount of exclusive content.
Home console version = the definite version? Explains! As of now the only 100% guaranteed difference between the two is the graphics n controls, and it may not be that significant.
