Interesting. Didn't realize WWF was so large, or Sonic this gen. Scary that Guitar Hero only really factored in here from 2005-2008.

which games do you think? i think only the platformers. maybe not even all of them (paper mario?)

not games like mario tennis, mario party and so on... (mario kart is also seperate)

I'm actually suprised at some of these things. Sonic is in it for one. No Capcom franchise whatsoever. Mario is not first, but that's because they've included Mario Kart seperately. LEGO is bigger than Grand Theft Auto and The Sims is still huge.

They counted 'Mario' and 'Mario Kart' seperately, for some reason.

I take it the Mario entry includes NSMB, 3D Mario and Mario Party. But I agree, either split the franchise up into all of it's different series, or really count it as one. I don't know if Mario & Sonic at the Olympics is included with 'Mario' or with 'Sonic' though. I'm guessing the latter since that would explain how Sonic even makes the top 20.
