Two part thread. 

1.  Do you believe that predictions for consoles that we know little about has any merit to them?  Example being PS4/Nexbox predictions.  I have seen many people make predictions on them but for me I see them as being unreasonable since we know little about both.  and as this industry has shown, brand does not always mean winner.  Example being Ps2 to Ps3.

2.  Do you trust people on this site and who and why?  For me one person comes to mind.  Ethomaz.  He has always been very reasonable with me and has always had reasonable predictions with me.  Currently I'm awaiting to see who will be correct about Gran Turismo 5 and Grand Theft Auto 4 (PS3 version). Me or him.  No matter what I think he will be fairly accurate and it will be very close to his prediction.  Kowenick also seems to be very intelligent with numbers and the business side of things.

I also think members like Kresnik, yo_john, Bananaking, and MarcusD brings up good points time and time again and never let emotions control them.  Kain-Kusanagi would be another before he disappeared on us :/  CGI-Quality often makes good points as well.

With tht said, your opinion guys?

Hmm, who do I trust...superchunk usually makes pretty good predictions and stays civil in discussions.

Honestly, safe from a few exceptions I don't distrust anyone, there really is no need.

Is there merit behind predictions? Not always, depends on who's making them, and what exactly they concern.
But hey, predictions are fun

No, meta threads are threads about the website/whatever happens on the website itself, as opposed to threads which are about events happening outside of the page (all the trailers and gaming news stuff posted in the forums, for example)^^

Oh yeah lol  This month has had boring news and wanted to give people (Excluding the website problem i had) something to do and have something to talk about.

well JW you are very reasonable, so you have my vote. have seen any predictions you've made, so i can't say much there.

CGI has always been a fan of mine, so it goes without saying, CGI is a go to guy.

i have a bet with Ambidextrousmonkey(?), that seems to be in my favor as to whether Vita would get a global pricedrop before E3 which has yet to happen.
