The other thing, is how are you describing accurate. Most people don't realize how the Wii Remote works, then when it doesn't work how they think it does, they cry that it is inaccurate.

If you expect to be able to look down the remote at the screen and the pointer be right there, then no the Remote is not accurate, as it doesn't work that way. However, If you expect to be able to point at each individual pixel that the Wii draws without the pointer shaking, then yes the Remote is accurate.


To PC gamers that are used to the accuracy of a mouse, the Wiimote can seem quite imprecise. There are a number of reasons for this: the fact that the wii outputs in standard resolution, the sensor bar only updates at 30fps and the infra-red camera system used has inherent problems in detecting the position of the wiimote in relation to the screen (it is less accurate than a light gun in this respect).

OT: People should stop posting articles like this. It just makes Wii fanboys irate that an industry professional with considerably more gaming experience than them dares to offer an alternative opinion.

And calling someone a retard or newb for having a different view to your own is pretty pathetic.
