Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Interesting Nintendo E3 rumours (Updated with additional rumors)

Goku in Smash Bros would just be... bleh (and not Namco's choice to make! Aside from the Project J big crossover game that Dragonball's already involved in)

Pac-Man would be the best fit thematically, and if they wanted to appeal to the Nintendo core: Lloyd

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Goku in smash?

Tf!?

I love Dbz but.. Idk..

It almost seems like they are at the point of just throwing anybody in it if they let Goku in

  • When asked if “a certain Super Saiyan” would join Smash Bros (since Namco is involved), he said it “hasn’t been decided yet, but there is a chance”

Do! not! want! I would prefer that the Smash series would stick with characters that originated in videogames.

C'mon, there have been Dragon Ball games since the SNES (don't know if even before). They are also part of this culture.

OT: The Retro game, stated as it is, can only be Metroid (which would be a bit dissappointing) or a new IP (exciting!).

3D Mario being bigger is ok, but the "unlike anything you’ve ever seen” part makes me raise my eyebrown. What does it mean? That it will be HD? Hmm...

The Nintendo Directs. 3 or 4 should be enough: 1 for Nintendo games and services for WiiU, the same with the 3DS and then either 1 or 2 more about 3rd party games.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I'll take 5 Nintendo Directs please and yes 3D Mario Universe.

First person shooter, futuristic, sounds like Metroid prime 4.

Buying in 2015: Captain toad: treasure tracker,

mario maker

new 3ds

yoshi woolly world

zelda U

majora's mask 3d

As long as I don't have to wait until June 11th for the goods, I've been waiting for two years already.

I rather hope against a new Metroid Prime. Retro would do great on a new IP, and Metroid could do great branching off in new directions (something closer to, say, that Shadow Complex game)

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I wonder what direction the new mario will be taken in.

Will it be a Galaxy 3 or something else? I feel like the whole Galaxy thing cant be topped so they might need to stick with something similar

I also think the Wii mote is going to be superior to the gamepad when it comes to 3d mario

How dare you say such a thing about Metroid Prime!!

This is a full and new gen so they could work on a new ip after they release Metroid Prime 4.. If they do

Yeah, as pessmistic as it sounds I just find it hard to see a new 3D Mario living up to Galaxy, or the Gamepad living up to the Wiimote.

Not because I think the Wii U 3D Mario/Gamepad will be bad, but because they're stacked against such a high standard.
