First day sellthrough {2014.05.01}

Mario Golf: World Tour - 20%
Child of Light - 20%

I thought Child of Light was digital only.

According to Amazon.jp, it's some kind of LE with a download code inside

Cuz it has the name Mario is it suppose to sell high? Dont start with the "F" or "B" word pls :-/

It should manage 80k-100k lifetime

Mario Kart is going to have to kick it up a gear soon if it wants to out-perform MK7 here.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Good numbers for MK8 and Yokai Watch 2! The rest though? Uhh......

Freedom Wars will be bigger than Soul Sacrifice at this rate.

The nice thing about Freedom Wars' performance at the moment is that it's doing it in a lot more sustainable manner than SS (i.e. not 'artificially' being boosted by price cut + LE + dual pack).

It seems I was wrong about the weekly.  There was a new Monster Hunter Frontier release this week.  But it seems bizzare to me since the SKU's in the weekly at COMG definitely read differently from each other.

  1. [WiiU] Monster Hunter Frontier G Memorial package - 10pt
  1. [PS3] Monster Hunter Frontier GG Premium Package - 9pt

But sadly for the enthusiasm, it seems that WiiU version charting higher than PS3 version did not translate to bigger sales.  If they were indeed the same release.

I wonder how much this thing will sell on Vita.  I can't imagine it doing any better than the home console versions tbh.

Also, here's something I haven't posted for a while (because we've been doing our own comparisons!):

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=110326387&postcount=474

Comgnet retail stores chain's preorder comparisons, as of May 2nd

[3DS] Yokai Watch 2 - 85pt + 66pt = 151pt

[Wii] Mario Kart Wii - 79pt
[3DS] Mario Kart 7 - 74pt
[WiiU] Mario Kart 8 - 75pt

[PSV] Persona 4 The Golden - 122pt
[3DS] Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl - 18pt
[3DS] Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth - 66pt

[PSV] Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2 - 23pt
[PSV] Chō Megami Shinkō Noire: Gekishin Black Heart - 33pt + 13pt = 46pt

[PS3] Kamen Rider: Battride War - (TV Edition) - 50pt
[PS3] Kamen Rider: Battride War 2 - (TV Edition) - 27pt

Mario Kert doing well.  Persona doing pretty well too.  And Noire!

Kamen Rider seeing the usual sequel-to-anime-title-drop-off.  Boo.  Maybe WiiU version will eat some of the lost sales.

Nice comparisons as usual. Go Mario Kert!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Nintendominating the top of the charts.
Freedom Wars... well can we just get an English release date already, SOOO HYPED!!!

Good day for Yokai. 8points.
