Smash Ultimate quickly losing ground to Smash 4 3DS. Hope Nintendo has a big advertising campaign planned.

Smash Ultimate is releasing a good bit earlier in the Switch's lifetime than Smash 4 3DS however. (1 year and 9 months in vs 3 years and six months)

So it can afford some slack, not that it might even need it.

I'm sure Ultimate will do just fine compared to 4 on Wii u/3ds. There were probably more COMG stores around when they launched, plus there are bundles not counted by COMG this time. So even if raw points are lower, it will probably have a higher FW ratio.

Seems like Black Ops 4 had a 5 point increase yesterday, wondering if it could have an even bigger push today.

Additionally the 3DS had a much larger install base by then than the Switch has, so more potential buyers. But like peachbuggy said already, the ratio should be much better
