741 + (18x31) = 741 + 558 = 1299. Assuming pre-orders trend even half of this for the best 31 days were looking at at least 1 mil week 1 launch. Lovely. Us pre-orders need to pick it up a bit. Would like to see it reach top 20 on Amazon at least.

Its kinda strange to see all these japanese third party devs supporting PlayStation,usually u see lot of third party supporting the market leader(Nintendo)but its opposite in japan.both PlayStation and Nintendo are japanese gaming company but when u look at theirs library PlayStation feels like a more japanese oriented gaming console than Nintendo.theres a lot of weird interesting and colorful japanese games on the ps store.after owning a ps4 for 6 months its definitely feels like japanese console.

Well, it is a multifaceted situation.  The Switch having far more momentum does not negate the history Sony has with third party nor the fact that Japanese pubs/devs (at least some of them anyway) are considering worldwide potential when making business decisions.

The Switch will obviously grow its Japanese support, but PS4's support isn't going anywhere.
