Is the Yo-Kai Watch IP declining in Japan rapidly? The first Busters game(which I can only assume is a side game) did 2.3 million in Japan.

Yep. Level 5 milked the franchise to no end, and it went from being on the level of Pokémon to being sub 1 million in only a few years.

Figures. Well, that sucks. They should rest a bit and wait for a full on Switch game. That's what Monster Hunter should have done, after the XX 3ds game they should have just stopped. Luckily there's not really saturation for Worlds so it can succeed !!!

yeah i think they saw monster hunter and pokemon having bi annual releases that sell millions, and thought they could do the same with more frequent releases. a switch yo kai watch with some core improvements could turn it around if done right, i think :)
