Because since Monster Hunter XX was an expansion to an already released spin-off which already sold 2.81 million, it only sold 1.6 million in Japan allowing for the closest comparsion of a recent Monster Hunter game for Monster Hunter World. But yeah it's certainly no equal ground or Monster Hunter Worlds portable counterpart; that would be Monster Hunter 4 which sold 3.44 million in Japan (with it's expansion version selling an extra 2.63 million but we'll see if Capcom release a second expansion version for World).

We all know Monster Hunter World won't do anywhere near Monster Hunter 4. I think it makes good sense to compare it to Monster Hunter XX.

Of course we're gonna see a Monster Hunter World port for Switch and eventually Monster Hunter 5.

I wouldn´t say "of course". I think Capcom will do a Switch series and one for home consoles and rotate those 2. Well atleast that would be the smart way to go about it.
