Same here.  Amazon is growing in Japan and comg is declining.  Is amazon more reliable now?  

 

Both stores definitely have different demographics shopping in them however so that needs to be considered too. 

Looking at it, Amazon has the digital version of DQ PS4 consisently eell above DQ 3DS. Mediacrate can tell us that that hasn't been representative of actual sales a single week. 

 

Also, just intuitively, I think it's fair to say that Amazon is badly underestimating Pokemon US/UM. It's a pokemon game, it's gonna sell. Monster Hunter could be close, I guess (though it's still far away, so I'd still expect Pokemon to be above), but there's no way that it's trailing Fifa, Mario, Xenoblade, SAO and Earth Defense Force (whatever that is). 

 

I feel that Amazon generally has a bias for stuff that normally sells better in the West.

The real question is will Monster Hunter catch the previous console version?

I think it will, it'll be close though it only just has over 100 days to go it needs to gain at least 1 order every 5 days to achieve it.

If you're referring to me, you shouldn't use the word "literally" because I never said it would do poorly.  I predicted Galaxy levels.  The point was that presenting it as a follow-up to Sunshine would indicate that they don't expect the broadest appeal.   And it's not just once, it's on Odyssey's official page.  Compare that to when Galaxy was marketed as the true successor to World rather than Sunshine.  That was because Sunshine was a disappointment and Nintendo wanted to get classic Mario sales again.  So the reversal was interesting to me because it seemed less ambitious than they were before.

Call that nonsense but don't put words in my mouth.  11+ million is not poor or crazy negative.

I think it will

the last console release was a remaster of a rerelease.  The last real console version was for Wii, but that's so far back the point ratio is going to be radically different.

Also, forgot to point this out:  4 never released on Wii U.  3 Ultimate did.  A port of an enhanced version of a 3DS release of a Wii game.

Yeah I don't think so.  Cause it WILL pas the Wii U version of 3.  If not, it would be one of the greatest disasters I've seen a sequel to a powerful franchise turn into.
