Monster Hunter World did not appear on comg And Amazon Japan? flopped?

Are pre-order opened ?

I don't think pre-orders have opened yet.

Otherwise, it would have shot straight to the top of the charts.

It has appeared on rakuten.

I think pre-orders just might not be open yet. I mean it's still the next new main series monster hunter game after all, I expect it to chart as soon as they do open. A comparison between it and Monster Hunter 4 would be nice when it does chart.

Why would it flopped? Its a brand new Monster Hunter

I doubt it will flop but it will be interesting to observe.  MonHun didn't become the powerhouse it is today in Japan until it went to handhelds.  It is possible the Japanese sales could see a sharp drop from 4.  And Capcom is aware of this, they are hoping for strong western sales to make up the difference.  Which is extremely risky, the only MonHun to crack 1 million on consoles *globally* was Tri in 2009 on the Wii.  And now there's a built up userbase invested in the portable nature of MonHun.  And of course Capcom has milked the franchise to an absurd degree so that may also hurt things.  We'll see.

I think it will be open soon on amazon, but i wonder if we will see it before on comg chart already...didn't appear splatoon 2 on the chart even before it was able to preorder on amazon?

Switch wasn't even a thing when they started developing world. Vita and 3DS were no longer appealing as they wanted to actually advance the series. Switch will get it's MH game to the standard of world just not now. World will do fine when you combine East and west sales and combine the ps4)xb1 and pc version.

Anyway pre orders opened on the EU PSN store but amazon Japan and America haven't opened yet.

I think it has a good chance to do fine.  The Xbone and PC versions are likely DoA just cause the series has no historic presence there and Japanese games sell markedly worse on Xbox One.  But I think Tri levels is the likely cap, unless things shift drastically either in Japan or in the West.  That can happen of course, has with other franchises.  But as the market exists now, Monster Hunter World is a considerable risk.  

And I have no doubt a MonHun of actual qiality will come to Switch, Capcom can't afford to leave that money on the table.
