Yeah, around 8. It would need to sell 500k units from now to reach 1.4m in Japan, which is 62.5k per week on average. I don't see it happening. Nintendo would need to double the supply they ship and a boost from Arms.

Hmmm, that seems a bit too much going by supply issues indeed. But I wouldn't be surprised if it averages 50k per week... I think they will up their supply in June, at least going back to the 40k~50k baseline, and have a decent boost the week Arms launches.

I will go for DQ switch when It's released, PS4 version is far superior to the 3DS in my opinion, I am not surprised it's having the better pre order so far, I think it will come up on top sales wise

I think the hardcore are both divided by 3ds/ps4 skus. It also helps big time the dq push in the past 2 years, either way 3ds should get more of the casual pick ups.

 

DQ needs to start performing better (for franchise comparisons) but imo its mostly the 3ds version that needs to pick up the slack. Ps4 sku is pretty damn impressive given the install base difference non the less. Lets hope it gets closer/over 3mil fw then 2mil. That would be bad with a 30mil installbase
