Next day will be interesting. Maybe Arms will finally get some points.

Honestly it depends on switches supply. I am hopeful for 600 to 800k. However I wouldn't be surprised if it was lower. However it is the legs that will be telling. If really well supplied it could be higher. |
Considering that Splatoon2 still keeps to the top spot on Amazon Japan despite coming out in so many versions and COMG points still riding high despite the presale, I'd say 600k is extremly lowballing, unless Nintendo can't deliver more than that number of Splatoon2 cartridges to Japan; and even then digital should make the difference anyway. 800k-1M seems more realistic to me. And yes, I know that implies about a 50% attach rate from the get-go, but if there's one game which can achieve this, it's Splatoon.
well, that prediction was wrong
really surprised about the last few days of DQ on 3DS. Tekken 7 is disappointing
So when do we deem ARMS is gonna flop?

Enjoy the crow. DQ ps4 still in beast mode!

Tekken use to be so big. I mean wasnt it the king of the genre sales wises? Ibthink 1 entry even sold 10mil+ :o
If Switch really does have supply problems in Japan, then we have to assume its install base is bigger then HW sold. So it isn't like Splatoon 2 won't have a big install base to sell to. It's attach ratio might be out of this world like Zelda was, which had more sales then Switch in US. Zelda is huge in US, Splatoon is bigger in Japan relatively.

In a few months?^^
As for pre orders.. if its not moving at all after testpunch i'd be a bit worried.

Ill say this. Itll be a bad sign if it doesnt pick up starting Monday. People will put its goals toward what splatoon did without realizing that splatoon is a once in a blue moon success.

Tekken 3 is reportedly the second biggest selling fighting game of all time according to Harada, only behind Smash Brawl
so yeah, it was very big at it's peak
