Seems like DQ PS4 will end up higher than DQ 3DS. Wonder if that will translate to sales though. Maybe possible that the Switch is taking some buzz from the 3DS version?

I'm surprised PS4 DQ is still keeping up with 3DS DQ.

It's not with pre-orders open yet? Will it release in a futher date than the PS4/3DS?

None at all atm. I think next year maybe spring?

Hey guys, two things to keep the peace in here.

1) Boutros puts a decent amount of effort into this thread, as do some others. So please don't "spoil the charts".

2) Excessive enthusiasm for the sake of annoying fans of other platforms is something that has factored into moderations in the past. Please keep the celebrations reasonable. Being a sore winner is even worse than being a sore loser.

1. Thanks!

2. Now that you're here you've caught the comg bug and you can never leave.  You're one of us now!

That sucks, they announced it last year and it'll still not release together with the others this year?
Well, there is still time for that, who knows.

They havn´t even shown the game on the Switch yet. So yeah that´s gonna take a while, I assume it´s for maximum sales ... maybe. Or they simply want a higher Switch installbase.

Seems like Splatoon and the two DQ versions are increasing at the same rate. Nice bump for both

The comparison with FF15 is really quite uninteresting, the game is the worst selling FF mainline game since at least two decades and that even by quite a big margin. Comparisons with past DQ entries are more relevant. Anyway, unless there is an exponential rise, DQ11 could end up very disappointing as well, compared to past entries, even then, FF15 is still no match to DQ11.

My comparison is really only a PS4 comparison and the 3DS and combined graphs are for show. The biggest PS4 game is FFXV at the moment and DQXI is looking to take the top place so it's naturally the best comparison within PS4 platform. Also it's not too long ago when FFXV released, back then a lot of people were saying this is it, this is the biggest game PS4 is going to see and the ceiling has been set...but looks like it wasn't carved in stone yet and I always thought it was the big 3 (FFXV, DQXI, FF7R) which would battle it out. It wasn't until recently when people actually stopped downplaying DQXI PS4 and that's something I think is very strange given how DQH/DQB new spinoffs performed really well on PS platforms alone.

Another interesting thing is the 3DS and PS4 sku battle, that's something nobody could have predicted and the biggest surprise here. 3DS should be leading with a wide margin already but somehow it isn't. I believe the gap will grow eventually but when and how big will it end up.

Like few others have said already there isn't any point comparing DQXI or any other games to some ancient numbers, too many things have changed since then. I think there really is only 2 "relevant" comparisons and those are DQXI (3DS+PS4) vs Pokemon SuMo and FFXV (PS4) vs DQXI (PS4). Neither are perfect comparisons but at least both exist in this day and age of japanese market.

DQXI 3DS+PS4 will also set interesting precedent for future Switch+PS4 games, for example maybe Monster Hunter 5 could be such.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.
