Comparing to DQX would be useless. Comparing to 8 year old DQIX would be useless, as would 13 year old DQVIII.

COMG has lost stores since then, we wont ever see a 5k pointer like MH on PSP again due to the loss in stores. So really any comparisons back then are fairly biased towards the games released at that time.
