Did Nintendo officially open pre orders for Splatoon 2 and Arms? I ask that because I thought they'd be doing a bit better right now.



Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I think it started slowing down when MK8D was about to release / or when it did released. Maybe once people start getting bored at it, it will start to do good again xD

Arms there is no excuse for but dont forget that splatoon is already at 350p. With the switch install base right now i say its just about 1k comg consumers. The game is still 2months+ away. There is only so many points the game can get right now.

 

A good comparison is mk8d. Game did i think 260p on comg? Weekly mk8 sold first week to over 30% of all switch owners. Compare that to splat2 current points (with 2months+ still out b4 release) and switch install base. The game cant even get 1k points here without comg cutting back pre orders.

 

Thats why imo it slowed down a hell of alot. I believe whatever splat2 finishes with here on comg, itll be less than that on its first week. (Aka pokemon BW and splat1)
