That said splatoon doesnt Need to do anywhere near dq11 first week. I expect dq11 to do 1.5mil-2.5mil fw. Splatoon2 around 700k-800k.
And lastly 3ds has over 10k comg customers and ps4 likely above 5k by now. Switch has what? 600-700 people right now? Splat2 has over 150pre orders, that shows a ton of promise and clearly the difference in demand at least for now between the 2 games.
DQ still has a very high chance of beating it, but saying its doing worse is completely false giving the circumstances :O |
I may have misremembered, but I thought you had 1.2m FW, with ~5m LT. Sorry if i had that wrong.
DQ PS4 version is doing better than most expected. 
While the userbase difference is huge, I think that most can agree that fans of the series would be more likely to want to play the PS4 version over the 3DS version.
