As I said, this saturday there was a re-stock at Sofmap Akiba, and I guess in every store in the Bic Camera Group nation-wide. Switch is expected to increase sales, if you ask me.

You know what the scary thing is?
Not even Pokemon is the biggest selling title in Japan. Not anymore anyways.
Animal Crossing: New Leaf has it beat on this site by 170k, easily more if we had digital sales to track. 
If Splatoon manages to somehow catch THAT. 
That means they've got not 1, not 2, but THREE first party major system selling IPs under their belt.

Is it too early to declare Japan: The Land of the Switch?

The first one on the ps3 didn't do so great in Japan, the 3ds version on the other hand did amazing in Japan. Perhaps they should have made a switch port aswell for Ni No Kuni 2.

Well, the DS and PS3 versions were completely different games and were released far apart from each other. Not a very straightforward comparison. I believe that Ninokuni 2 would do well enough when it launches.
