Why hasn't splatoon 2 charted? II thought it was big in Japan.

I'm pretty sure COMG only takes preorders for games with release dates

No, i dont think so since WE already Saw games without à date.

Also Splatoon 2 will probably be severely impactéd by the paid online, despite the handheld possibilities in Japan, it could do much less than Splatoon 1

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Oh I guess that makes sense. I don't follow Japan too much so wasn't aware how it works there. Is this comg specific or all Japan. It would seem weird that they would be willing to lose out on preorders to other stores.

That's true there are games on the chart that have tba days left. It seems really weird to me that they are not taking preorders. They are everywhere else.

Well, in Gran Turismo's case, it was on the chart when it had a release date, but then it was delayed and a new date hasn't been announced for it yet. Not sure about the other game, though the same could probably be applied for that as well

It seems unlikely itd Because of that since i often see TBA games for Big games

it probably just has low pre orders because its not releasing until Summer, which could be as far as 6 months away.

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Pre-orders for Splatoon aren't opened. Stop assuming things like pre-orders are low (these comments will need to be quoted when they open).

End of discussion.

Possibly, we'll have to see. TP ended with 418 points, so just a little more than double BotW has now. I think BotW has a pretty good shot at surpassing it, but it depends on if what Kresnik said is actually true and that preorders for the Switch will close after January 31, which could negatively affect preorders for Zelda. As it stands now, BotW only needs about 7 points per day to surpass TP, which is definitely possible while also factoring in things like weekends. If what Kresnik says is true, I would say it would be more challenging for Zelda to reach the goal, but if it turns out to be false I think BotW has a real shot at it

I was right!

It will be interesting to see if Switch games keep getting preorders. On Amazon, for example, Zelda is still charting very high despite the Switch being sold out. It's even higher than the console in the monthly chart.
