Capcom cornered RE franchise completely, lost all identity along the way and "reboot" was the only long term option. Whether or not it pays off I think Capcom did the right thing. Sales most likely drop with RE7 but it's ok if the game is well received because then the doors are open for RE8 to hit it big.

Switch definitely going to do well in Japan at this rate. Despite the relative weakness of Zelda in Japan, it seems enough people have hype for it.
