You know you can do this every game just about that comparisons are not fair, if you even read my other posts in this thread, that ratios from ps2 era are different the ones right now. We factor stuff like this in this thread, if you actually follow the thread, but no you rather go about saying it is meaningless.

You also know that about everyone estimates this to do better than persona 4 did on launch, based on COMG of a month ago right? See my post to Dr. Vita for example this morning.

Here is the thing, comparisons still happen, because guess what, you can still take into factors into equations when comparing, otherwise this thread would be completely useless and we would have zero discussion on games. Guess what games get kickass bundles all the time, we still compare games.

You are now making stuff out of your ass.

"if you actually follow the thread"

Let me say, if YOU actually followed the thread you would know I actually follow this thread.

I was sure this was about P4 ratios but wanted to be sure since I did not want to make any assumptions. Personally, I think it's been obvious for a long time P5 will crush the sales of P4 8 years ago.

Like you mentioned the release of PS4 slim and the dry period of games after P5 significantly raise the selling potential of P5. Now if Sony would go all out and start things off with P5 PS4 slim bundle right out of the gate, both P5 and PS4 numbers would crush every expectation.

And last but not least, do you know I'm the one doing the Persona 5 vs MGSV comparison?

Yes comparison are very rarely fair but still some comparisons are more adequate than others. You don't have to tell me about PS2 ratios or act like I don't know. Anyone could have said a year ago that P4 vs P5 comparison was totally meaningless from sales perspective, the only conclusion you get from that comparison is that the sales ratios are not comparable, you do not get any sort of accuracy if you try to predict P5 sales looking at P4 COMG points. That's the only thing you need to "factor", going any further is pointless.

Why the hell you bring other peoples estimates into the discussion. Yes, I know pretty much everyone predicts P5 will sell better than P4 but that has nothing to do with me saying, P5 comparisons are now meaningless. From the moment the bundle was announced, it was clear the sales ratio will change completely and we don't have any comparison that would be even remotely fair. MGSV had the bundle but the situation is still completely different now, it just isn't comparable. There is a stark difference with regular bundles and a new cheaper console model releasing and this time with a highly anticipated P5.

You talk about factors and equations and then proceed to post these half-assed conclusions full of holes, to me your deductions seem like childs play.

I understand why you are dismissive of the comparison, don't get me wrong, my argument is that I don't see it as meaningless, because it can still be factored into the equation. You can still form conclusions from it. Look at it this way. You have the ps3 version over here and it could sell 50,000 about, whatever just roll with my stupid conclusion for that one. Than you estimate how much it could without the bundle and estimate how much it does with the bundle.

Also sorry I did not know you were doing that comparison, and yes I judged you rashly, and I am sorry for that.

As game pre-orders? No.
But the news themselves should boost P5 pre-orders today, the commercial should help the game overall.

Which one tracks bundles seperatly and which one does not. Media Create or Famitsu?

I'm wondering if there will be anyway to seperate the data, or was this something long time ago, and has long since not been a thing, and I just have not paid attention to the trackers.

Both track bundles NOT separately and both give information, especially Media Create, for bundles if it's the case. But, this time, the Persona bundle is very limited, so I don't think they would care about it.

Yes, conclusions can be made after we get the sales numbers but it will be difficult to get solid grasp just how much did the bundle help. If the bundle had not happened people would have still bought the new PS4 along with P5 and this makes the equation very difficult. And it's not just the recent bundle announcement, P5 comparison was already difficult since it looked like the new PS4 model would release in close proximity. Maybe the formula can be found after the sales numbers but the prediction game is over for COMG points. Having said that, I feel the PS3 sku can still be gauged using collective pre-order data but it's not the main draw here.

I feel bad for this conflict, there's no pros, it's like shit all over. Let's just forget it and move on to celebrate the future success of Persona 5 and other titles.

I cannot imagine toilet-free life.

Kebabs have a unique attribute compared to other consumables. To unlock this effect you need to wolf down a big ass kebab really fast, like under 10 minutes or so and wait for the effect to kick in. If done correctly your movements should feel unbelievably heavy to the point where you literally cannot move at all.

In the past they did seperate the data right? Or exclude it, one or the other. This would have been back in 2009, or am I imagining that.

Totally agree, Persona 5 is going to do amazing.

--------

The PlayStation 4 Slim announcement made stores as usual, change their advertisments. TSUTAYA and Joshin dedicated full space for reservations of Persona 5 and its new bundle that was sold-out in hours.

Santy Shop prepared reservations for games launched in October. Berserk and Paper Mario were among them.

Of course, Pokémon and its new trailer appeared, as well.
