That didn't stop a million at launch buying Dragon Quest VII on 3DS; or Dragon Quest V on DS when there were SNES and PS2 versions :p

What'll stop DQ8 achieving massive numbers is the mobile version which released a while ago, I would imagine.

Precisely. However, I checked last thread and DQ VII entered the chart with 26 points, and 76 days before release.

BTW, it managed to get 722 points, and 1686 in the weekly chart.

Trusting Amazon isnt always a good thing to do but i'll say it anywayz. Splatoon comes out andMK8 bundle WiiU was about 15th-20th the entire time and now basic sku sold out (and 12th) with MK8 bundle wiiU currently #7.

Maybe a hold can happen? Not that strong but 14k-15k would be good especially with how other weeks dropped fast with other releases!

Well, there's that high school game for PS3 and PS4, Shiren the Wanderer 5 Plus for Vita and Stella Glow for 3DS. I thought at least one of those would be able to take the top spot.
