I would have expected Type-0 HD to do like 150k+ on it's own and it looks like it might not even do that with the FFXV demo :/

Just like DQH, Type-0 is meant to build a foundation for the future of Square on the PS4 so it must live up to their expectations which I think are pretty high.

Whoever wanted to play Type 0 in Japan already played it, years ago.

The HD remaster seems like is more for the west than Japan

Square seems that is not able to promote the Demo as they should. Have they confirmed at least that the demo will be available from Type-0 Launch? I read that they are not sure if the voucher can be activated from day 1. Impossible to build hype for the demo I find it normal there's no hype for the game since everybody played already Type-0 on PSP, and isn't considerated  precisely a must have lol

In all seriousness though with both Disgaea 5 and Bloodborne coming out at a similar time why would anyone in Japan waste their money on a game theyve already played.

It sucks too because Tabata wanted to continue the series, originally he wanted it to be on home consoles too so maybe this is what they are using to gauge intrest in the series future on PS4... and XBO too I guess.

MM3D progressing nicely, has a shot at 100. Most I could see is 120, but likely between 95 and 110.

I guess Type 0's absence might be due to being a late HD port, but it still seems like we should have seen it by now. Even an HD port of a three and a half year old game should manage at least 100 points. It's Final Fantasy we're talking about. If MM3D, a graphically improved port of a nearly 15 year old game in what is, in Japan, a dying franchise, and one of the more niche titles in the franchise at that, can manage 100, Final Fantasy should be able to with just about any title in the series. I've a feeling it's just off the charts and we'll see it soon. If not...Final Floptasy Type Bomba...
