The biggest issue with adding a Youkai Watch character is that the series is like one year odl! It could wind up a flash-in-the-pan series that declines steeply a year from now. Not making a prdiction here, but making a point: the franchise is young and unproven and plopping a character from it into Smash Bros could look really silly if a year from now Youkai Watch begins a steady death next year.

I forgot to ask this while i was gone, this is regarding SSB 3DS sales.

Famitsu showed us about 90k (i think) digital sales for the monthof Sept, but with MC the game was 1.647mil sold (retail) and Nintendo announced the currently sold numbers for SSB 3ds by Oct 26th is 1.88mil including digital (not shipped, sold).

Thats around 230k digital sales, which seem accurate according to gaf with eShop Ranking. (game is over many 100k-150k games sold digitally there).

Is there some difference between Famitsu digital tracking??? Weird.

Also that woud put SSB at 1.933mil sold to date (1.701mil by Nov 8th)

Its still funny how some think ssb 3ds was a bad idea, nintendo sure doesn't :p

There's quite a difference from player's perspective vs business perspective. From the first, I think 3DS version is horrid idea. I hate it. 

From a business side, it's brilliant and should have been done a while ago.

Nintendo likely wouldn't pay what would be required to get a MonHun character in Smash brothers. You forget that Level 5 and Capcom would be doing Nintendo a favor by allowing them to be included in Smash.

Captain Toad isn't doing badly based on that. It's ok just as the post says. The shipment isn't going to be very high in the first place and it should do well on Sunday.

You think Nintendo Pays for the third party characters to be into SSB games? You serious XD

Its more like the other way around (i know thats not true). Sakurai even stated with megaman, when he ask, capcom just gave him them. It would be thesame case scenario for both YW character andd a MH rep :)  They would give it to Nintendo for free, its like an honor to be a playable character in smash, just ask the Ridley Fans XD
