Maybe. We'll see. It doesn't seem like there are a whole lot of Japanese gamers who would be interested in a 3DS but don't have one yet. I'd love to see 200k hardware sales in Japan, that would be simply amazing. But I just don't think it's a reasonable expectation for the 3DS at this stage of its life.

I think we'll see 200k+ this week, if not over 150k :0

Looking back on MH4 week last year, the 3DS did a lot better than I remembered. You've convinced me somewhat. But I don't want to expect too much; this is an aging platform. A lot of it depends on the reception of the N3DS.

Hiska on gaf (the japanese sales ninja! XD) said that he ask retailers and pre orders are strong. He took some pics and the promotion is first class. Expect no lower than 100k, 150k is a lock imo.
