However, I can't see how PVP would work in MH, and I don't see why it would make anything better. Most of the weapons are slow and the game is obviously not built or balanced for PVP. Longswordsman or Ranged players would have a huge upper hand, because the game is about taking out giant foes, not tiny fast ones.

There aren't many at all.  I can only think of Dynasty Warriors Strike as a hunting-type game, but that's kinda stretching it.

PvP was just a possibility of things they could do for multiplayer. The point I was trying to get across is that other teams were making fun coop action games but with more features and designed to be exciting. Think the series needs a bit of innovation to break up the staleness. Which is why I made the Pokemon comparison earlier. Capcom can't change much because they can't afford to piss off their fanbase.

Are you sure? maybe it is delayed to 2015.... I am kidding.

The wise choice would be to wait till the release of Fatal Frame and Bayonetta 2, if they open the pre-orders before they may affect the sales of those games, after that is fair game.
