Pokemon HG and SS sold 1.4m in their first week in Japan. OR and AS should do 1m.

No doubt, i didnt mean for expectations to be low. what caught my eye is when I saw that the regular Ruby/Sapphire did less FW than YW2.

I think 1mil-1.2mil is a safe bet. Just saw many predictions from back in may/june that OR/AS will do 10mil-12mil lifetime  WW (not that its impossible, just a high expectation). I dont understand how a few think OR/AS will automatically do close to that of the first two remakes which are based off of 32mil/23mil sellers and did 11.5mil/12.5mil, while XY (a main gen) will do 14mil-15mil lifetime :-/

Of course i would love it to do 12mil

Clearly the hype has left the SSB 3DS camp, unfortunately

The hype hasnt left though :-/ (have you seen the comparisons for the 3ds game?!!!) Its still over a month away and its currently the 5th highest 1st party game pre ordered on COMG which is amazing (already way past mk7).

To top it of its overall at a cumulative time the 6th highest pre ordered game at 6weeks away (only losing to MH3G, MH4, MH4G, YW2, and XY). I dont think writing it off as hype is left cuz its getting 3 points a day in the past 3 days is unfortunately, games this far away from  release wish they can be doing 3 a day. Hype hasn't left or it be getting a point every other day :)

The hype has certainly slowed down, but thats not really a bad thing. I'm surprised it has already been carried this far by the hype. With a marketing push that is sure to come soon it will ramp right back up and I'm sure it will have a great release.
