Super Smash is killing it!

Its the 6th highest selling SKU on japan amazon this year! Its beating both Youkai Watch 2 (seperate, not together).

I saw the announcement, I just don't expect this game to do all that well on its 4th platform (and the fact it's a port of the mobile version doesn't help).

DQX is interesting. Obviously we've seen in the past that DQ + Nintendo handheld is a winning combination, and there are plenty of DQ fans already on the platform if the sales of DQVII and the two Monsters games are anything to go on, but then this will be the 4th platform the games has appeared on, plus DQX has never been as big as a mainline entry. Technical problems we can only speculate on, but I guess Squenix might have been looking at something like Phantasy Star Online 2, which I think got 500,000 DLs on Vita and sold 200k copies at retail across two releases, though of course that was free to DL.

I guess we'll have to see how it performs here on COMG to get a better idea
