No one said that was the official logo. The rumor said it may be called "infinity" and that there was a corresponding image on reddit. Everyone simply continues to copy/paste that original image as its all anyone has.

Its just re posting the picture based on rumors. MS must have had a entire team working on the official logo for a while. If this was true, lol thats a lot of time wasted by the marketing department.
