i've almost maxed my 500 GB drive on ps3.  no fucking way i can deal with a smaller drive when bold is true.  vita's 32 GB max is infuriating enough.

Agree with that! I have about 380GB used on my 500GB PS3 so I figure 500GB is minimum what I'll need next generation.  Vita's whole memory card issue has been biggest obstacle in me buying one.

No. What's the point if you play from disc, and an SSD won't fit many games?

Iirc Sony said games are installed when you play them. The disc seems to be only needed to check for existance.

Did they now? Then that's good news toward keeping an HDD...

Of course, that'd make you have only a limited amount of games.. 50gb+ games and such.

If you have $600 or more already exists 1TB SSD .

But I will try to buy a 500GB one at maximum $400.

I plan on upgrading my SSD soon enough anyway in my PC. If I can stick this guy in the PS4 after I do, Ill definitely do it.

First priority if I had that kind of money would be to stick it in my PC =P

Sony never said that entire games would need to be installed......

Like many of the PS3 games, PS4 games may not need that.

With 8gb of gddr5 you won't need it
