you can be very sure that sony pays ubisoft for this exclusive content and that it is business and not loyality. like microsoft pays activision for the timed exclusive cod stuff and so on...
that's why i said in another thread that sony and microsoft should stop with that shit. no customer has something from that, they invest a lot of money for "exclusive content" and could rather invest it in their own studios. there is no advantage for sony nor microsoft if they both pay for all the exclusive stuff. the advantage would be only there if only one company would do it.

While i completly Agree from Sonys side they have no problem with Exclusives. they release a ton a year to keep the core happy and give people new IP's all the time.. MS should stop paying through the nose for map packs ans make some more games.

i don't even know if microsoft had so many less exclusives over the whole gen. not sure how many games both consoles have but does the ps3 really have a much bigger library? i don't believe so especially when you also count arcade games but yes, the last two years or so were "bad", especially this year and i would like to see more games. they invested in new studios which need obviously some years to release games but even if they would have as many games as sony the last years i would want both to stop with that. even if they wouldn't invest it in new games i think customers would be happy to get the same on xbox and sony systems and not different versions or timed exclusive version (not sure what anyone has from that since everyone would get it at the earlier date without timed exclusivity and not everyone at the later date).
i have both consoles and could always have the better version but all versions as best version sounds the best.
