you are right, we can't say God is just a person 

I'm sure there must be a few of us who can donate maybe $10 to help with any short term money problems although I don't know if they money problems he specified are due to his own more serious problems.

But if it's a case of someone having genuine short term problems I am always willing to make a small donation.
