There's a very good reason EA were voted worst company in the US. They're dishonest and they treat consumers like crap.

the reason why ea won that is because gamers are good in complaining about everything. they are clearly not the worst company, that's a joke and everyone knows it.

Depends on what you mean by the worst company. They're certainly the least respected publisher by people working in the industry, they treat their staff like shite.

Worst gaming company sure, though I'd say its nearly impossible for EA to ever be as horrible as companies like Comcast or Bank of America.

Yeah, a company based purely in optional entertainment will never be as horrible as a firm like BoA, who has completely messed up homes, lives and livelihoods. If you do a poll of worst companies in America, then there are way more deserving candidates. But if you did a poll on "worst companies in any entertainment industry," EA deserves to be the poster boy.

I can't believe people are defending EA, some of you should go to 4chans /v/ board (Video games), and ask what their opinion of EA.

I don't think they're defending EA so much as they're bashing Nintendo and the nature of gamers (everyone on the Internet, honestly) to complain.

If Nintendo was an American company they probably would have won, because, you know, ruined gaming, or something....

What a fantastic article. Brilliantly composed. I've said it on here before, one of these gaming journalists needs to interview one of the top bods from EA and ask them straight out what's been going on and not let them finish and leave the interview until they get a proper answer. Handcuff the fucker to a chair if necessary lol.

He's one of ours :)

I think it is unpresidented in how ballsy the declaration of the relationship is actually.

b-b-but EA's a rational business!

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

A fitting German proverb: "Wer den Pfennig nich ehrt ist des Talers nicht wert"

-> They would deserve to be bitched to death by their investors for missing out on potential sales (it would be basically impossible for them NOT to make money off a simple port)...

I'm not buying anything from EA anymore. I, as a consumer, have nothing else to say on the subject.

I own all the systems and I pretty much stopped buying EA games about 5 years ago.  Since, I've bought 3 new NFS games and that's it.  At this point, I'm done with them too.  There are so many great games out there from other publishers, I would never have the time to play them all anyways, so they wont be missed at all.  The biggest problem is EA likes to buy every gaming company they can just so they can increase their sales.  I've got nothing again most of the developers under EA's umbrella, but I would have no problem with EA themselves vanishing.

Stop hating and start playing.
