Madden is one of the biggest sports IP’s in the industry today, along with NCAA Football and FIFA, yet EA isn’t developing a version for the Wii U. We have no official word on NCAA and FIFA yet, but all signs are pointing to those not arriving on Nintendo’s console either. If you have several multi-million dollar franchises, isn’t releasing them on everything available the smart thing to do? Especially if you have a strong partnership with one of the oldest gaming companies still in existence? Something here strikes me as…..odd.

Nope.

yes

No if you only look at what's profitable or not.

Yes if you want to expand your franchises and reach as many people as you can, giving you the option to expand the existing consumers.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

btw the whole article is based on a few threads we had here the last weeks, it even mentions vgchartz numbers. seems like the guy just read the threads and put all complaints together in one article^^

I guess being forced to use the gamepad second screen annoys EA?

Does this type of behavior coming from EA really surprise anyone anymore? It's pretty much expected by now.

There's a very good reason EA were voted worst company in the US. They're dishonest and they treat consumers like crap.

the reason why ea won that is because gamers are good in complaining about everything. they are clearly not the worst company, that's a joke and everyone knows it.

Depends on what you mean by the worst company. They're certainly the least respected publisher by people working in the industry, they treat their staff like shite.

Worst gaming company sure, though I'd say its nearly impossible for EA to ever be as horrible as companies like Comcast or Bank of America.

That's not true at all. Plenty of games just stick an image or map on the screen and call it a day, or just have it mimic the TV screen. Nintendo never made the edict that games must utilize the Gamepad screen for gameplay purposes.
