What i read there is: "We tried some stuff and decided it's not worth the effort trying to get FB3 working on the Wii U"

Why would i be stupid to blieve that?

They didn't try some stuff - they were vehemous since the beginning

Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

You know sometimes it really is the case that you get what you pay for. The Nintendo owners effectively spent next to nothing on EA software last generation, and EA taking that cue spent just about as much on game development for the Wii U. I actually believe them, because I think it was a question of whether the engine would work as is, and if it didn't work as is they weren't going to waste time and money getting it to work on the platform.

I honestly don't understand what the complaining is about. Nintendo console owners bought the console explicitly to play a few first party games from Nintendo. They had no real intention of buying games from third parties, and they almost always own a second console to play third party games on. Third party game development on Nintendo consoles is actually pretty redundant.

Personally I think the GameCube generation was probably the last purist generation as far as Nintendo was concerned. It is just a secondary console brand now, or a expensive peripheral for those that have that kind of money to waste. I think that last generations over the top casual focus finally forced a lot of purists into adopting other consoles. I also think that it was quite the revelation for them, and a lot of them aren't coming back.

I would say if anything Nintendo and its fans have been pretty stupid. You can't just squander third party support, and expect it to stick around. If you don't use it you will absolutely lose it. Third party game developers make games to make money. If they aren't making money then they can't continue making games. What else is there to say really. This has been going on for a long time. Third parties getting squeezed off of the platform to make even more room for Nintendo.

The Wii U could have been a sucess of PS2 levels if the publishers and developers didnt undermine it since the start with engine compatibilities. As such, its a nintendo box. No one really cares if EA brings their crap to the box anymore. They already ruled themselves out and no one is gonna buy the box because of them and therefore no one will be disappointed.

Now, to see if that was the right course of action and if 1: Next gen consoles manage to sell well and 2: Consumers dont start adopting the Wii U like crazy with a price cut and popular games out later this year.

I really really doubt that, like seriously doubt that. The PS2 didn't need some gimmick control or to bow down to casuals to sell, the software did all the work. The crazy amounts of software from all genres available got it done, not to mention it wasn't in Cube form. No console right now, not even the PS4 or 720 will amount to the monsters sell the PS2 pulled off, unless Kinect 2 kicks integration in gaming to the next level which could be a huge selling point. That is, if they don't decide to waste their entire budget for Kinetic games on freaking dance games.

so you think 152 million hardcore gamers bought the PS2, wao. really, i wonder where those others 70 million went because the last time i check the PS3 has sold 80 million

People should definitely be upset. I own a WiiU and I want the Next Dead Space, Mass Effect, Star Wars games. This isn't a question of EA. It's the fact that they own some very talented studios that will produce fantastic games that WiiU owners will miss out on unless they buy another console.

That you would even ask this just proves what a stupid you are.

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

mmm goood argument, but weak. You mean EA did not sell the most of Tiger Woods on Wii, weird.

Of course we Nintendo gamers are not going to buy those mediocre games they released on Wii. They had less than five games woth for it.

You are the stupids buying shit from them.

The topic is not because i am mad about not bringing Star Wars, but because they are lying.

Of course EA don't want to publish their games on any Nintendo console, because they know Nintendo titles are bigger than them. It is better for you people, that Nintendo doesn't go third party, i can' imagine Nintendo games obliderating all the other games on all platforms.

Went with "stupids". You want EA games on Wii U and yet you don't like EA games. I'll get a Wii U and it won't be because i want to play Battlefield 4.
