I know it wasn't a rag. I replayed it recently and it showed me there are many heartfelt scenes.

Anywho, some unpopular opinions of mine:

  • I just have the hardest time getting into 2D Zelda. Compared to the 3D Iterations, combat feels dull and the sense of exploration and wonder is lessened.
  • Castelvania's best 2D title is better than Metroid's best 2D title.
  • Forza or Gran Turismo? Neither, racing sims are the most boring genre in gaming.
  • TimeSplitters is the best FPS franchise.

I liked Final Fantasy X-2

Tharja is the only reason I would play the new Fire Emblem.

Like what?  

You just keep saying there are "tonnes" and since I don't have XBL I have no idea what games you're talking about.

Too many for me to list all, but pretty much every game that put Sega on the map during the Genesis/Mega Drive era, and also a good chunck of there Saturn library and some of their Dreamcast titles.

Yet another one: I think yearly releases for sports games are OK and I think FIFA games are great games.

-I think Forza is better then Gran Turismo (but I'm not sure anymore after FM4).

-I think Halo 4 represent a huge drop in quality for the Halo series, and the game doesn't deserve a score above 8/10 (old Halo's deserves 9+ scores).

-I think Indigo Prophecy is a better game then Heavy Rain

-I think The Last Story is better then XenoBlade Chronicles, but I think Lost Odyssey is better then both.

- I think InFamous is a hidden gem, one of Sony's best games. I think most of sony's IP's are only average (LBP, Sly, Killzone, GoW, etc)

-I hate remakes of old school Nintendo IP's. Modern 2D Zelda's and New Super Mario Bros. games are boring and uninspirational. I feel Nintendo is trying to make a quick profit, and levels lack the originality and creativity they used to have. Also why can't I use my analog stick in New Super Mario Bros?

I've got a couple....brace yourselves.

- I enjoyed playing Alone in the Dark. The music was great, the fire was amazing, the inventory system is probably one of my favorites in gaming....played through it a couple of times too. It has its flaws sure, but nothing so terrible that it got the ratings it did.

- I just don't like Uncharted. I couldn't even force myself to finish 1. I don't care about Nathan Drake or any of his treasure hunting escapades. The music was forgettable, the voice acting was good, but the gameplay just....ugh. No thank you.
