The fact that you have to download a huge ass game and then have to install it (on a console !) is awful. (not even mentioning the big patches that also need to be downloaded and installed....)
That was one of THE advantages of a console. Not having to install games to play them.

Also click on the link to see that it takes longer than 10 minutes. ME3 takes almost 40 minutes lol.

Good thing you don't have to sit there watching it install. You could do other things. You make it sound like it's the end of the world.

Again, hyperbole.

Yeah play with a competitor's console for example. Glad you agree with me.

And how does that mean I agree with you. Do you even know what this conversation is about. It's been a while since you last replied so you must have forgotten.

*sigh*
YOU said you could do other things in the mean time. I posted an example that is obviously better than watching something to install.
If you don't agree with that then you contradict yourself.

Nothing gaming related is "the end of the world", but that doesn't mean that certain things can't belong to the worst kind of annoyances.
The conversation (my comment) was that installs are awful when other consoles show that they aren't even necessary.

That you can do other things in the mean time doesn't solve the problem. That's like saying that a certain game is GOTY but needs to load 10 minutes everytime you start it but on a different platform it doesn't have to load at all.
It's acceptable after all since it's an awesome game but the loading times can still be awful.

Around the Network

If the game is cheap, I will try and go for the PSN version (providing I have a free day for it to download).

Siren the other day was £5, I brought the retail copy a few weeks before than for £12. I sold it and got the PSN version.

Far Cry 3 for XLB was £15 the other day, a fantastic price, cheaper than retail.
