Forums - Gaming Discussion - What game have you rack up the most hours playing?

Unless the game has a timer then I have no idea how many cumulative hours I've put in a game, but I'll ist a few games.

Final Fantasy.  I've played the NES game atleast 20 times over, Origins twice, Dawn of Souls atleast 10 times, and Anniversary once.  It's 5-8 hours, another five hours for the optional Dawn of Souls/Anniversary stuff, so just taking an average of eight hours per playthrough, 264 hours atleast.

Castlevania.  I've finished this one hundreds of times.  I'd say easily over 100 hours on a game that's only 15-20 minutes long.

Brigandine Legend of Forsena.  Another 200+ hours.

Then there's fighting games.  I just recently started Dead or Alive 5 and in player data it shows 10 hours.  Going by that, I'd say somewhere between 200-500 hours on some fighters.

The highest times I have on some of my saved data.  Jump Ultimate Stars shows 99:59:59, Yakuza 3 shows 88 hours, Dragon Warrior 7 was somewhere within 70 hours, and Tactics Ogre was somewhere at 80 hours my first save file.

Smash Bros. Melee …. Close to 10,000 hours
Smash 64 is around 9,500
Metal Gear Solid 2 is just over 1,000 hours
Uncharted 2 around 500 hours

Man I thought my WoW was excessive but, 812 days ie :2 years and 82 days  just playing those 2 smash games! That is a lot of time!

Skies of Arcadia is probably at the top for me; I've beaten that game at least 6 times, and at 40-50 hours per playthrough, that would be roughly 240-300 hours; that doesn't includes the three or so times I've started a playthrough of the game and not finished it (including one time I stopped right before the final battles).

Mass Effect 2 is a close second; I've beaten that game 6 times, and I'm about half-way through my 7th playthrough right now (which I'm doing because I'm only a few achievements away from getting all of them, including the ones for the DLC).

I think I racked up about 400-500 hours playing Phantasy Star Online, only to have my savegame wiped because I tripped over the power cord while it was saving. Since then I've gotten back to the same point that I was, and further (so probably a little less time, since I knew what I was doing. I'm guessing 700-800 hours).

Everquest: Over 1 year (8760 hours) played.
Eve Online: 2144 hours (according to steam)
Star Trek Online: 271 hours
Skyrim: about 150-200 hours
Minecraft: 100 hours or so.

Any final fantasy game is easily at minimum 80+ hours
FF6 and FF7 ive probably done couple hundred hours each due to multiple playthroughs.
Each of the Zeldas is probably quite a bit, up until the N64+ era where I stopped playing through them multiple times.
I play Zelda 1 and Zelda: LTTP at least once a year.

At least it was your saved game, your console and you tripped over the power cord.

I was playing Soul Calibur on my friend's Dreamcast, he had autosave turned on, and while the game was saving there was a power outage >_<

Disgaea 400 hrs (Made a God)
Pokemon Red +- 300h (Children sure can grind)
Makai Kingdom 230h
Final Fantasy X +-200h (3 Playtroughs)
Phantom Brave 120h
Final Fantasy XII 120h
Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 80h
Mugen Soul 80h
Final Fantasy XIII 70h

In fact I'm impressed on how man,y hours I played on solo games.

Btw the 200 hours I spent on Makai Kingdoms were all played during two weeks, on summer holidays

I'm WELL above the 100 of days played in WoW on my main alone. I'm not subscribed anymore so I can't tell you a exact number, but it should be around 150days of playtime, if not close to 200.

I should have 1000+ on Mario Kart Wii due to clan gaming. But I have had the game on all day when it was new to check records (have a website for that game) and my girlfriend also played it.
Mario Kart Double Dash is surely 1000+ as well.
Besides all other Mario Karts, Burnout Paradise stands out with something around 150
